Schools Programme

KS1 Shelter Building
KS1 Shelter Building

Whether you want to come for a day out in the woods or spend the weekend, we have activities to suit you. A teddy bear's picnic for the younger groups and many bushcraft activities for older kids and teenagers. Our instructors will lead the group through games and activities using the woods as the playground, and teach you to cook and prepare and exciting lunch.

Cost depends on how long your stay is. Our normal day is 5 hours but can last as long as you wish. We can provide all day and evening activities, including night hikes and Owl prowls after dark.

If you wish to stay overnight our residential facilities back onto the woods and are a perfect base for your stay. We also have the opportunity for a small number of select groups to spend the night in the woods in a shelter you have constructed yourself.

Bespoke Programmes

We are committed to delivering a schools programme which is based upon real need and which demonstrate curriculum links, quality and progression.

If you wish to develop programmes specific to your schools needs please contact Hannah Cushen or Andrew Tandy on 01934 833723 or email training@goblincombe.org.uk

Comments received from Churchill Community Foundation School & Sixth Form Centre

"I would just like to say a huge thank you to you for the two days we spent with you. The students really loved both days and haven't stopped talking about it since we got back!. The work you do at Goblin Combe is amazing and it is a shame that more young people
don't get the benefit from the experience. I hope we get the opportunity to visit you again soon"
